Roadmap and Plan
The Plan
First we will aim to have the core game mechanics working and functional to enable play from our players. We will be engaging heavily with our players to see which features they like most, which can be improved and what is lacking. Once the core features of the game are functional and working, we will focus on other parts of the game we wish to include, prioritising these features based on player feedback. The community of players will be able to decide which features they wish for us to focus on first and bring to the game whilst also suggesting new features that may have been overlooked.
We wish Victor Isles to be a game people love, so being player focused is one of our key principles we wish to maintain.
Initial Development Stages are as follows
Prototype: Create a basic prototype focusing on core mechanics like base building and exploration. ETA: September 2024.
Alpha Testing: Test with a small group of players to gather feedback and identify bugs. ETA: Up to 2 months.
Beta Testing: Expand testing to a larger group, refining features and balancing the game. ETA: Up to 2 months.
Game Launch: Release the game with initial content and continue to update with new features and events. ETA January 2025.
Post Launch Care, Updates & Events: 2025 onwards.
